The Cleveland Clinic has a photo identification system for visitors to its regional hospitals. Adult visitors must show a valid photo ID to enter the hospital outside of normal visiting hours. Upon entering the Emergency Room entrance, visitors are issued a badge showing their name and photo, room destination, and expiration date (enhanced badges are available). Must be used on the outside of clothing.
Visitors who do not present an identification document will not be denied access after the visit has been confirmed, but will be photographed.

Im Hillcrest-Bus
The Hillcrest campus shuttle is available from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. From Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, to serve our patients and guests. This free campus bus will take you to the main hospital campus, the back entrance to the doctor's offices, and the north campus parking lot.
Valet parking and fees
Main entrance valet parking hours: Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 5:00pm.
Valet parking at the Emergency Department entrance is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m

From 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the main entrance to the hospital is closed and all visitors must enter through the emergency room. Visitors must wear a visitor's pass after 9 p.m. – 5 a.m., seven days a week.

Bedside delivery of your discharge prescriptions
Hillcrest Hospital can fill out your discharge prescriptions and deliver them to you or your family at your bedside. A pharmacy employee will come to your bedside, collect the necessary information, and work with your nurse to obtain the necessary prescriptions. The pharmacy accepts most healthcare plans and can take credit card payment by your side. Alternatively, if you let us know, your family can collect their medication from the pharmacy, where other forms of payment are also accepted.

ombudsman

The Ombudsman is the liaison between Hillcrest Hospital and the patient in resolving any issues that may arise during treatment. We recommend that patients first attempt to raise their concerns with the department where the problem occurred. If you cannot find a solution with the person in charge, we recommend that you contact your department head or your supervisor. If these attempts are unsatisfactory, call our Ombudsman between 8am and 5pm. Monday to Friday, or you can leave a message anytime. Presenting a problem does not in itself affect the patient's future access to care.
music therapy and art therapy
Music therapy combines music and therapeutic techniques to support a person's physiological, psychological, and emotional well-being during the treatment of an illness. At Hillcrest Hospital, music therapists work in the inpatient areas and at the Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center.
Art therapy uses the creative process of making art to help patients heal and recover. Art therapists work with patients at the bedside, in group sessions, and in public areas with patients, families, and staff. Art therapy is offered throughout the inpatient hospital and at the Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center at Hillcrest Hospital.

The Department of Food and Nutrition Services is happy to provide room service. We offer a wide range of nutritious hot and cold dishes throughout the day. Our menu also reflects specific dietary restrictions that can be requested at the request of your doctor.

After your doctor has prescribed your diet, use your phone to call extension 26368 or dial 55 and our nutritionist will be happy to assist you. Family members can also help you order your meal if needed.
